About GSP
The purpose of this website is to bring awareness to the thousands of American-Thai children that were left behind during and after the Vietnam War.
We hope that by showing photos of both the American-Thais and their biological parents that we will be able to match case documents and eventually reunite both the children with their biological parents.
Many of these American-Thai children remained in Thailand and also many were adopted by families around the world. These children were given up for adoption and in some cases sold to to prospective couples wanting to adopt children. Some were left at hospitals, orphanages and with unknown families. Times were hard as the Thai woman usually ended up not being able to afford care for their children hence given away or sold.
I feel that I did my duty as a young GI by adopting my own biological daughter from Korat in 1971. Her Thai mother refused to come to the U.S. so I made special arrangements with the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok to allow me as a single father to bring my daughter to the US. When she was 7 months old, we were finally on our flight from Bangkok to Los Angeles, CA on September 1971.
If you have reason to believe that you fathered children in Thailand, please contact us by sending a confidential e-mail and we can discuss the matter privately and in more detail. Please note the Case # in the subject Line.
The time is now!
